The owner’s spouse and children up to 24 years old are also eligible for the residence permit which is renewable yearly.
HOW LONG IS THE RESIDENCE PERMIT VALID FOR?
As long as a foreign investor owns a luxury property within an IRS, the residence permit remains valid. Upon selling the residence, the permit is transferred to the new owner if non-Mauritian.
